The Mitsubishi MiEV starts public trials in the West Midlands today
There seems to be a perception that we at Cars UK Towers are anti electric cars. We’re not. What we’re against is the mad pseudo-science that tries to declare electric cars as zero emission and the saviour of the planet.
The city car of the future will seat two people, run on electric power and communicate with other vehicles to reach a destination faster while automatically avoiding traffic tie-ups and crashes. General Motors, working with electric-scooter maker Segway, has developed three concepts tailored toward that vision of future transportation. The Electric Networked Vehicle, or EN-V, concepts go on display May 1 at the World Expo in Shanghai.
Toyota is set to unveil a trio of concepts at this year's Tokyo motor show. Taking snap-shots of the future of Toyota, they are said to represent the 'near-future, mid-term and far out.' Details on all three are currently limited, so stay tuned to CDN for our Tokyo show coverage, where we will bring you more details and images of all three cars.
